Silk Road Lantern — Mosaic Art Chandelier

Where Two Worlds Met

For centuries, the Silk Road was not just a trade route for silk and spice. It was a corridor of ideas — where Persian glassmakers encountered Chinese lacquer artists, where Ottoman craftsmen traded techniques with Thai temple builders, where the art of coloured light crossed every border it met.

The mosaic lantern was born from this exchange. Neither purely Eastern nor Western, it belongs to the long tradition of artisans who looked at coloured glass and saw not a material, but a language — one that speaks in amber and cobalt, in geometry and shadow, in the way a room feels when the light comes through something beautiful.

Silk Road Lantern carries that language into your home.

58cm of Coloured Light. 125cm of Presence.

Hanging at 125cm, Silk Road Lantern fills a room the way a great painting fills a wall — completely, without apology. The mosaic shade, 58cm in diameter, is assembled from hundreds of hand-cut glass pieces set into an iron frame, each one placed to catch the light from a different angle.

When the lamp is on, the ceiling becomes a canvas. Patterns of colour move across the walls as the light shifts — warm amber in one corner, deep cobalt in another, the geometry of the shade projected softly onto every surface around it.

Four colour compositions are available — each one a different mood, a different atmosphere, a different room.
